Job summary

A multinational food and pharmaceuticals company is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all financial activities of its U.S. subsidiary. The successful candidate will lead financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring alignment with U.S. GAAP and global financial policies. Responsibilities include managing a small finance team and collaborating with the Italian parent company. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in finance and at least 10 years of related experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, income tax and sales tax.
• Proficiency in Italian is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate with the Italian parent company on group reporting and intercompany transactions.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial procedures.
• Supervise and develop a small finance team.
