Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to lead strategic financial planning for AWS Dedicated Cloud, owning CAPEX for a region and influencing P&L decisions. You will build models, partner with senior leaders, and deliver actionable insights from large data sets to drive long-term growth.

You will collaborate across teams, ensure controllership, and support automation and scalable finance tools while navigating security clearance requirements for a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field
• 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience or equivalent
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data to support strategy
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive performance
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance and be a U.S. citizen

Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting for AWS Public Sector infrastructure and support senior leadership
• Build and maintain financial models for CAPEX analysis and long-term value
• Communicate with business leaders using timely financials for decisions
• Align financial analyses with business partners and provide recommendations
• Identify opportunities and implement large-scale financial solutions
• Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with policies and controllership principles
