Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC’s Advanced Robotics Finance team seeks a Finance Manager to partner with Engineering, Procurement and Accounting on capital investment, working capital, and cost governance for a vertically integrated robotics program.

You will own capital governance across sites, model landed costs, and provide early warning systems for supply chain risks, influencing make-vs-buy decisions and supplier relationships from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 5+ years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in supply chain, procurement, or operations finance.
• 3+ years of finance experience in Capital Asset management, Capital spending against plan, budget tracking and reporting.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience with SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

• Own the full capital governance lifecycle across sites including appropriation requests, capital project register, and CWIP to placed-in-service asset transition governance, depreciation schedules, and asset disposals.
• Own long-lead equipment planning partnerships and associated financial governance, track commitments and financial exposure on equipment orders.
• Own lease agreements, tenant improvement allowances, and real estate financial commitments across all sites, coordinating with legal, tax, and corporate real estate on multi-jurisdiction implications across Texas, California, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington.
• Own raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory financial oversight including min/max inventory level modeling, freight cost forecasting, and variance reporting against BOM logistics cost assumptions; coordinate with Amazon's fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain infrastructure.
• Leverage AI and automate obsolescence/excess inventory risk flagging, landed cost models across a dynamic supplier base, purchase commitment exposure, and supplier financial health monitoring.
