Job summary

LHH is seeking a Finance Manager for a fully onsite role in the United States. You will partner with Program Managers and executive leadership to strengthen financial performance, manage program risk, and oversee forecasting, revenue recognition, and government compliance.

The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and collaboration across functions. Travel up to 10% may be required; salary range is $125,000 to $150,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive program finance experience, ideally in defense/aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS government accounting standards.
• Proven ability with ERP systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, data modeling).
• Ability to partner with Program Management and executive leadership.
• US Person or eligible for export authorization.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Program Managers and Control Account Managers to improve financial performance and cost control.
• Oversee revenue recognition, invoicing, cost management, funding status, gross margin, and cash flow forecasting.
• Develop program financial strategies including baselines and long-range plans.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, EAC, ETC, and internal program packages.
• Monitor costs and ensure compliance with budgets and government accounting requirements.
• Develop and maintain WBS, time-phased budgets, schedules, and baselines.
• Lead cost proposals including basis of estimate and audit support.
• Drive ERP data integrity, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency.

Bring your program finance expertise to a successful, international defense manufacturer. In this Finance Manager role, you will partner with Program Managers and executive leadership to strengthen financial performance, control costs, and manage program risk. Your work will span financial forecasting, revenue recognition, government accounting compliance, and proposal pricing. This is a fully onsite position offering a salary in the range of $125-150K.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Program Managers and Control Account Managers to improve financial performance, strengthen cost control, and mitigate program risk.
• Oversee revenue recognition, invoicing, cost management, funding status, gross margin analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
• Develop program financial strategies, including financial baselines, long-range plans, and scenario analyses.
• Manage preparation and approval of monthly financial reports, Estimates at Completion, Estimates to Complete, and internal program reporting packages.
• Monitor costs weekly and ensure compliance with budgets, charging structures, and government accounting requirements, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
• Direct the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), time-phased budgets, schedules, and baseline control documentation.
• Serve as the financial lead for proposals, including cost-volume pricing, Bases of Estimate, and audit support.
• Drive program finance process improvements in enterprise resource planning (ERP) data integrity, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in program finance, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry
• Strong knowledge of government accounting standards, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modeling, analysis)
• Proven ability to partner with Program Management and executive leadership
• This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
• Availability for occasional travel, up to 10%.
