Job summary

White Circle is seeking a hands-on Finance Lead to own day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including reviewing expenses, invoices, and receipts, and overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, and cash burn tracking. The role focuses on the US entity with US GAAP accounting and close ownership.

You will work with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and other providers, building financial models and dashboards to guide hiring, spending, pricing, fundraising, and strategic

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with US GAAP accounting.
• Experience owning the financial close and reporting process.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
• Experience in multi-entity or group company setups.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations across entities, focused on US GAAP.
• Own monthly financial close and ensure accurate reporting and data.
• Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and other finance providers.
• Build and maintain financial reporting showing revenue, expenses, cash, burn, runway, and health.
• Own budgeting and forecasting for revenue, expenses, headcount, cash needs, and runway.
• Develop financial models to support hiring, spending, pricing, fundraising, and strategic decisions.
• Improve accounting/finance processes as the company scales.
• Prepare financial information for investors, fundraising, board materials, and due diligence.
• Identify opportunities to automate finance workflows and speed reporting.
