Job summary

Namespace Labs in the United States (New York) is seeking a Finance Lead to own and build out the finance function as we scale. You will connect day-to-day financial operations with a view of where we're going, owning budgeting, forecasting, cash and runway planning, and financial reporting while analyzing the economics behind our infrastructure investments.

You will be working closely with our leadership team on hardware investments, leasing, unit economics and planning ahead.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Startup or fast-moving environment experience building/scaling a finance function.
• Experience with hardware, infrastructure, or lease management.
• Strong understanding of cost structures, unit economics, and margin analysis.
• Experience managing accountants and external finance partners.
• Ability to translate financial data into insights and recommendations for leadership.
• Able to manage multiple financial workstreams and deadlines.
• Ownership mindset and hands-on problem solving.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building structure where it doesn’t exist yet.

About the role

We're looking for a Finance Lead to own and build out the finance function at Namespace as we scale.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who can connect the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business with a clear view of where we're going. You'll own budgeting, forecasting, cash and runway planning, and financial reporting, while helping us understand the economics behind our infrastructure investments and business.

You will be working closely with our leadership team on hardware investments, leasing, unit economics and planning ahead. You'll also coordinate our external accountants and other finance partners and continuously improve the systems and processes behind how we manage the business.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable operating in a fast‑moving startup, enjoys building things from the ground up, and can move easily between financial models, operational details, and strategic decisions.
