Woodward is offering an internship in Finance/Accounting for students majoring in those fields. The program provides exposure to FP&A activities, annual planning cycles, and monthly close processes. You will work with dashboards and financial reports while contributing to cost and pricing analyses in the aerospace and energy sectors.

Internships may lead to potential full-time employment and provide hands-on experience with real business challenges and mentorship from professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be a sophomore in an accredited College or University program with a 3.0+ GPA.
• No experience required; internship or related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A teams during annual operating plan cycles and month-end close processes.
• Assist in updating and enhancing financial reports, dashboards, and resource planning strategies.
• Participate in cost center, profit center, and expense reporting improvements including data validation.
• Contribute to project-based work such as capital structure optimization and ERP implementation support.
• Engage in financial accounting activities: journal entries, reconciliations, and SEC reporting preparation.
• Analyze pricing and sourcing data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Participate in audit assignments and compliance projects.
