Job summary

Belden Inc. in Carmel, IN invites motivated students to join its 12-week US Finance Internship Program. You’ll work on real business projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop project management, interpersonal, and finance knowledge alongside experienced managers.

You’ll collaborate with a global team and contribute to solutions that add value to the company. You’ll review expenses, build analyses, create data visualizations, and help improve reporting while applying your analytical skills

Qualifications

• Current enrollment pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Experience using Excel and analytical tools, with strong analytical mindset, financial modeling and/or variance analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• High learning agility and intellectual curiosity with initiative and accountability.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment.
• Availability for a 10-12 week internship from May 17 to August 6.

Responsibilities

• Build competitor analysis.
• Align sales funnel data with reported numbers for historical accuracy.

Belden’s US Internship Program offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over 12 weeks, you will gain hands‑on experience crafting business solutions while developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and function‑specific knowledge.

As a member of our 2027 US Internship Program, you’ll be fully immersed in a global team of experts eager to teach and learn from you along the way. These fast‑paced, project‑based internship positions are ideal for students who are interested in developing themselves professionally, while also making a substantial contribution to the company. You’ll work towards goals, deliver results, and present to business leaders.

Finance at Belden is a true business partner, embedded within each major segment of the company and also provides centers of expertise. Finance teams here build models, analyze margins, support mergers and acquisitions activity, and help translate data into strategic action.

Finance Internship roles provide the opportunity to work out of the Carmel, IN office.

How you can add value within the Finance function:

Successful Finance Intern candidates will offer:

• Current enrollment with pursuit of bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field of study
• Related project or work experience utilizing Excel and analytical tools, strong analytical mindset, financial modeling and/or variance analysis
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities
• High learning agility and intellectual curiosityalong with initiative, accountability, and a bias for action
• Current and future authorization to work in the country of employment
• Ability to complete 10-12 week internship from May 17 to August 6
