Job summary

ITT Inc. is offering a Finance Intern position for Summer 2027 in Valencia, CA. The role provides hands-on experience in operational accounting and finance within a publicly traded aerospace manufacturing company, under mentorship.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an Accounting or Finance BS, in good standing with a 3.0+ GPA, and are completing their junior year. The internship covers gaps in GAAP, accrual accounting, and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, with exposure to standard procedures and

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance undergraduate program (BS) with GPA 3.0+ and junior year completed.
• Knowledge of GAAP and applicable accounting regulations.
• Solid grasp of accrual accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting information systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounting/Finance with daily operational activities.
• Review and update current SOPs.
• Learn ITT SOX policies and procedures.
• Maintain and file documents per retention policy.
• Support resolution of AP and AR items.
• Participate in inventory audits and cost analysis.
