Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Finance Intern for our 2027 summer internship program in Houston, TX. This on-site opportunity offers practical exposure to financial analysis, data tracking, and collaboration with project teams.

Under close supervision, you will assist assigned departments with basic admin tasks, prepare reports, and support research on various data sets while pursuing a related degree. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field

Our Houston Office is seeking a Finance Intern for our 2027 summer internship program.

What You'll Do:

• Performs a variety of tasks which may be specific to a particular functional area of activity such as preparing reports, tracking and evaluating results, coordinating program developments, answering the phone, receiving messages, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquires and making appointments.
• Participates in meetings and interfaces with various teams.
• Assists management in analyzing various data.
• Works on special projects and provides research as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer:

• Pursing a Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Statitics or related field
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
