Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Summer 2027 Finance Intern to work full-time (40 hours per week) in Minneapolis, MN. You will gain exposure to global finance teams and participate in strategic initiatives, risk analysis, and financial modeling.

Applicants should be pursuing a finance or accounting degree with graduation dates in 2027–2029 and must be authorized to work in the United States. The program offers housing assistance and relocation support for eligible interns, with onsite work four days a

  • Analyze financials, capital expenditures or cost center expenses.
  • Conduct modeling support for forecasts and scenarios.
  • Perform risk-based internal audits of operations, finance, and IT functions.
  • Review income statements, balance sheets, P&L, and consolidated statements.
  • Conduct market, industry, and category analysis and strategies.

All interns must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.Medtronic is working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of its commitment to professional growth, cross-functional collaboration, and engineering the extraordinary.Must Have: Minimum QualificationsTo be considered for a Summer 2027 Finance Internship , your resume must clearly demonstrate how you meet each of these basic requirements.Working toward a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, Spring 2029.Ability to participate full time, 40 hours per week, as part of the intern cohort from June 1-August 14 for semester system programs or June 15-August 21 for quarter system programs.Applicants for Medtronic’s Summer Internship Program must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
