Meijer Inc. is offering a 11-week Finance Internship program in Grand Rapids, MI. Interns will explore multiple finance areas, gain hands-on experience, and interact with senior leaders.
You will rotate through Audit, FP&A & Corporate Accounting, Capital Planning, and Financial Operations, performing real-world analyses, reporting results, and contributing to projects across the business.

What you will be doing as a Finance Intern:
The internships will allow participants to gain a breadth of experience in the finance function of a retail enterprise, with focus on one of four possible areas:
Audit:
The Audit team is responsible for conducting various financial, IT, operational, and compliance audits. The intern will gain experience in identification of risks and internal controls to mitigate those risks. The intern will also have the opportunity to use and interpret results from Meijer’s predictive, statistical modeling tool. Responsibilities include:
Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis and Corporate Accounting:
The Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis and Corporate Accounting teams have responsibility for developing and providing appropriate reporting and information to control business operations. Responsibilities include:
Capital Planning, Property Accounting & Treasury:
The Capital Planning, Property Accounting & Treasury team has responsibility for managing the company’s cash, investments, and fixed assets. Responsibilities include:
Financial Operations:
The Financial Operations team is responsible for supporting and reporting financial transactions for our stores, supply chain and corporate offices to control business processes and operations. Responsibilities include:
