TotalEnergies in Houston is seeking a Finance Intern to support integrated power businesses within Gas, Renewables & Power. You will assist in refining accounting and FP&A processes, automate reporting, and help with month-end close activities under guidance from finance professionals.

Ideal candidates have a background in finance or accounting, are analytical, fast learners, and able to collaborate across accounting, legal, tax and business teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a finance or accounting background or related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Able to work across accounting, legal, tax and business teams.
• Proficient with IT tools and comfortable using financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Automate and design automated reporting templates to improve understanding of asset performance.
• Help develop and enhance rolling cash forecasts for each company.
• Support enterprise modelling with FP&A teams and economists for investment portfolios.
• Develop and maintain a financing library and ensure documentation consistency for facilities and hedging instruments.
• Assist in reviewing financing facilities and loan amortization schedules to support near-term cash activities.
