Highgate Hotels is offering a 2027 Finance Internship where students will work with the Accounting and Finance Team in a dynamic hospitality environment. You will engage in daily accounting tasks, assist in preparing monthly financial statements, and gain hands-on experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis under the guidance of finance leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Finance (in progress) with junior status.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint skills required.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the accounting and finance team with daily tasks.
• Support monthly financial statements and reporting.
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis at property level.
• Participate in audits, compliance, and internal controls reviews.
• Shadow property finance leaders and engage in internship curriculum.
• Maintain confidentiality and multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Perform journal entries and month-end close activities as needed.
