Job summary

Nissan USA is seeking a Finance Intern in Franklin, TN for a 12-week full-time program. The role partners with operations, logistics, accounting, and leaders to drive informed decisions and hands‑on experience in FP&A, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

You will work on month‑end reporting, build Power BI dashboards, and help streamline cost tables for new model launches while learning SAP Financials within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
• Solid foundation in accounting and finance principles.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience or exposure to Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Self‑starter who takes initiative and is eager to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
• GPA of 3.0 or above (transcripts may be requested).
• Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN.

Responsibilities

• Support month‑end reporting activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI tools and automation solutions.
• Assist with the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting enhancements that support business decision‑making.
• Create and improve processes for updating cost tables related to new model launches.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
• Learn how parts move through legacy systems into SAP Financials and support process improvement initiatives.
