  • Prepare documentation and research on technical tax issues.
  • Assist with audit planning and execution activities.
  • Conduct financial statement analysis.
  • Perform data analysis and testing procedures.
  • Document audit observations and findings.
  • Participate in interviews and process walkthroughs.
  • Prepare work papers that support journal entries and disclosures and financial statement balances.
  • Perform variance analysis and research fluctuations in financial results.
  • Participate in accounting research and special projects.
  • Help identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes through automation and artificial intelligence tools.
  • Assist with documentation of business processes and controls.
  • Participate in control testing and monitoring efforts.
  • Help identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain control and risk documentation.

Job description

Position Overview

The Finance Rotational Internship provides undergraduate and graduate students with a unique opportunity to gain experience across four critical corporate functions: Tax, Internal Audit, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls.

Over a four-month period, participants complete structured rotations that demonstrate how financial transactions are recorded, controlled, reviewed, and reported. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful business projects while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills. Participants will gain exposure to corporate accounting and financial reporting, tax accounting versus financial accounting, internal control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, audit procedures and testing, and business process improvement techniques.

This program is ideal for students interested in accounting, finance, audit, risk management, governance, and taxation.

Responsibilities
Tax
  • Assist with tax compliance and reporting projects.
