Job summary

Equifax, Inc. is seeking a creative Full-Stack Engineer (Finance) to design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full stack in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at our Boise, Idaho office.

You will leverage Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript/JavaScript, and cloud-native architectures to deliver value in finance-focused projects. You will join a globally distributed team, participate in Sprint ceremonies, and apply modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• Strong Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS skills.
• Cloud experience with GCP/AWS/Azure.
• Experience building microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude / GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full engineering stack.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Apply modern software development practices (serverless, microservices, CI/CD, IaC).
• Collaborate across teams to integrate systems with internal platforms.
• Participate in architecture discussions and roadmap alignment.
• Work in a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team.
• Triage issues and drive debugging and resolution.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Research and develop software to extend Equifax solutions.
• Collaborate on scalability and data access challenges.
• Participate in Sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Utilize generative AI tools to enhance workflows.
