The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia invites applications for an Academic General Faculty (AGF, non-tenure track) appointment in Finance to begin Fall 2027. We seek faculty who stand out with respect to teaching potential in all areas of study in finance.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, the Darden School is recruiting in the areas of Accounting, Data Analytics and Decision Sciences; Finance; Leadership, Organizational Behavior, & Communications; Technology and Operations Management; Strategy, Entrepreneurship, & Ethics; and the Bodily Bicentennial Professorship in Analytics. Qualifications

Master's degree required, with terminal degree preferred. Applicants must be capable of teaching in a "student-centered" environment that requires excellence in engaging students in a dynamic and unstructured setting as well as be able to develop curriculum materials for both internal and external use. Applicants are expected to uphold Darden community values, contribute as leaders to Darden and actively engage with practicing managers. AGF applicants are expected to bring something distinctive to the School, such as outstanding teaching, high visibility and effectiveness in working with practicing managers and executives, or a particularly noteworthy research niche.
