Qualifications

• Graduate degree in business (MBA), economics, finance, financial planning/wealth management, or a closely related field, from an accredited university.
• Undergraduate degree with a nationally recognized certification such as CFA, CFP, or CBE as appropriate to teaching responsibilities.
• Commitment to outstanding teaching and delivering an excellent student experience; active in service to department and university.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course materials and pedagogy to achieve course learning goals.
• Employ appropriate pedagogy for assigned courses.
• Conduct classes and deliver course material as scheduled.
• Utilize University Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver information to students.
• Evaluate and grade student work in a timely manner.
• Maintain availability to students during posted hours.
• Respond promptly to communications from department and students.
• Meet periodically with supervisors and colleagues for collaboration and development.
• Participate in departmental efforts to assess student learning.
• Respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population.
