Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Finance Director of Operations – Systems East to partner with the Director of Operations – Systems SC, responsible for driving strategic measures, digitalization, collaboration across plants, financial transparency, internal controls, reporting, planning, forecasting, monitoring and adherence to KPIs, and managing a team of Plant Controllers for the EP US Systems Operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in Finance/Operations Finance.
• SAP (FI/CO) knowledge.
• Manufacturing KPIs and measurements experience.
• Strong analytical and budgeting/forecasting capabilities.

Join our Smart Infrastructure (SI) team as our Finance Director of Operations – Systems East to help us provide valuable and outstanding business services to our customers! The successful candidate will be the Commercial partner to Director of Operations – Systems SC, responsible for driving strategic measures, digitalization, collaboration across plants, managing financial transparency and accuracy, internal controls, reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, monitoring and adherence to KPI’s, and manage a team of Plant Controllers for the EP US Systems Operations.

We are looking for our Finance Director of Operations – Systems, East . This position will be based in North Atlanta, GA or Spartanburg, SC. Location will be further discussed during initial interview.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance/ Operations Finance
• In depth knowledge of SAP (FI/CO)
• Deep professional know-how and experience in manufacturing business, measurements and KPIs
• Drives continuous improvement by enhancing existing processes, standardizing best practices, and promoting operational consistency across the organization.
• Delivers meaningful business impact through strong analytical capabilities, sound decision-making, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of annual budgeting, financial planning, and rolling forecast processes to support informed business decisions.
• Builds strong partnerships and collaborates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including plant operations and corporate teams, to achieve shared objectives.
• Excels at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Detailed understanding of drivers of productivity and cost saving initiatives
• Highly skilled communication and presentation skills

This position will be posted and hired at one of two job levels based on candidate qualifications and experience in a related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above

Level 5A: Requires a minimum of 10 years of applicable professional experience Salary Range: $159,579 - $273,564

Level 4: Requires a minimum of 15 years of applicable professional experience- Salary Range: $188,282 - $322,769

The final level will be determined at the time of offer and will be based on the selected candidate’s skills, experience, and overall alignment with the role.
