Job summary

UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee financial operations for two inpatient facilities. You will manage budgeting, reporting, audit processes and drive efficiency across departments.

Expect collaboration with senior leadership, development of financial plans, compliance with regulatory requirements, and staff leadership. This full-time daytime role supports Lifepoint Health's mission in a complex healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
• Proficient in calculations, fractions, percentages, rates and data interpretation.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership required.
• Ability to lead, develop and coach staff in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations for two inpatient hospitals.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance.
• Develop departmental goals, plans and standards with legal and ethical requirements.
• Direct staff activities, including hiring, evaluation and development.
• Drive departmental efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
