Job summary

Growth Operators is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and client-focused financial engagements for mid-size businesses. You will drive strategic planning, develop KPIs, and optimize processes while mentoring finance teams.

The role requires strong GAAP expertise, advanced Excel, and hands-on leadership. Onsite work in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area is expected, with flexible scheduling and a focus on delivering measurable client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
• GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with planning & analytics software
• Leadership experience mentoring finance teams
• Ability to spend substantial time on-site in the Minneapolis area for client work

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, planning, forecasting, analytics and reporting for client engagements
• Develop KPIs and financial models to guide management decisions
• Assess and optimize people, processes and technology for better financial reporting
• Oversee client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and value
• Mentor and lead Growth Operators finance teams
