Job summary

Addition LLC, with subsidiaries The Pineapple Agency and The Juice Shop, seeks a Director of Finance to lead finance across the group. The role builds scalable finance operations, tight project costing, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Ideal candidate combines strong financial discipline with practical operating judgment, focusing on governance, reporting, and strategic partnering with CEO and leaders to drive growth and accountability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
5–8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
Strong experience owning or improving core finance processes in a growing business.
Deep experience with project costing, job costing, or contract-based profitability analysis.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Experience improving month-end close, controls, and reporting accuracy.
Hands-on in a lean environment and able to drive execution.
Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
Excellent communication with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own the finance function for Addition LLC and subsidiaries, including planning, accounting oversight, reporting, controls, and cash management.
Build simple, scalable finance processes to support current operations and growth.
Lead the project-based budget process and rolling forecasts for all entities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
Oversee month-end/year-end close and improve close quality and speed.
Establish internal controls, approval workflows, and financial policies.
Design and manage project costing to improve visibility into profitability.
Partner with leaders to improve estimating, pricing, and margin management.
Develop reporting on project performance, backlog, revenue, gross margin, and cash flow.
Oversee AP/AR, payroll coordination, and GL accuracy.
Support billing discipline, collections, vendor payments, and working capital.
Create financial dashboards and KPIs for rapid decision-making.
Collaborate with external accountants, lenders, and insurance partners.
Evaluate and improve finance systems and reporting infrastructure.
Hire and develop finance staff as the business grows.
Act as strategic partner to CEO and leadership on growth and risk.
