Job summary

The DOF will oversee the finance and accounting functions of the KFC Yum! Center. Directly supervising Finance Department employees in the day-to-day functions involved in proper facility accounting.

These responsibilities and tasks are coordinated with the General Manager, as well as Legend Global’s Regional Director of Finance. The DOF serves as a part of the senior leadership team of the venue and includes serving as Executive on Duty for select events.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a 4-year college/university or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience.
• Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures as well as financial systems and controls.
• Capable of handling all aspects of the accounting cycle and principles and techniques of venue operation.
• Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal controls and compliance for AP, AR, and box office/ticketing operations.
• Review and sign off on bank and account reconciliations and analyses.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
• Manage show-related settlements, accounting, and event reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors to complete annual audits and issue financial statements.
• Prepare additional financial reports as required and manage cash flow needs.
