Job description

We Are Hiring
  • Department:Finance, Texas
  • Schedule: Full Time: Monday-Friday
  • Location: Remote but must reside near Central Texas
What You Will Do
  • Direct ministry financial activities, policies & practices.
  • Provide guidance on expense management, productivity, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and capital planning.
  • Manage market statistical reporting and budgeting.
  • Recommend strategies based upon financial, accounting and industry trends.
  • Plan and coordinate financial resources for departmental services.
What You Will Need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences
  • Ability to resolve routine issues exercising judgment to determine appropriate action.
  • Reviews, analyzes and ensures the accuracy of the financial and statistical reports for presentation to management.
  • Develop ad-hoc financial models as needed to assist the leadership team with decision making.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with problem solving abilities and a strong propensity for attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Promote continuous improvement to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve forecast quality, and enhance information provided to leadership to make business decisions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or G Suite.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or other large ERPsystems.
  • Prior forecasting tools experience (Hyperion, Strata, Kaufman Hall Axiom, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL or comparable query language.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • MBA and/or CPA highly desired
