Job summary

Jobtailor in Missouri seeks a seasoned Finance leader to own FP&A, lead budgeting and forecasting, and partner with executives to drive strategic initiatives that improve financial performance across the company.

You will develop robust financial models, manage multi-entity planning, oversee executive reporting to the board and lenders, and mentor a high-performing finance team while advancing process improvements and governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • CPA certification a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, transaction support, or related leadership roles.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, executive reporting, and business partnering.
  • Experience supporting multi-entity or high-growth organizations preferred.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and operational finance.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and executive financial reporting.
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate business strategies into financial plans, operating metrics, and actionable insights.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, profitability analysis, capital allocation, and business planning.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, integration planning, purchase accounting coordination, and synergy tracking.
  • Prepare executive, Board, and lender reporting packages with accurate financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Drive cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and overall financial performance.
  • Improve financial reporting processes, systems, and controls to increase efficiency, scalability, and transparency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, technology, and business leaders to support organizational objectives.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as the organization continues to grow.
