Job summary

Central Basin Municipal Water District is seeking a Finance Director to lead and oversee all financial activities of the District. The role reports to the General Manager and drives planning, reporting, budgeting, and strategic capital/debt planning to ensure sound financial management.

Responsibilities include directing financial reporting, guiding capital planning, and mentoring staff to maintain high performance and collaboration while delivering accurate, timely information to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional finance experience at a government agency, including three (3) years of management and supervisory experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $199,646 to $238,387 annually
