Job summary

HP, Inc. invites a Finance Data Science Intern to join a 12-week paid summer program designed to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges. The role emphasizes data analysis, automation, and AI-driven insights within the Finance organization.

You will build automated dashboards in Power BI, develop KPI scorecards, and partner with Finance, IT, and Data Science teams to deliver impactful solutions while preparing for a potential full-time conversion based on performance and headcount.

Qualifications

• 3rd year of bachelor's degree completed in Finance or computer science.
• Must be enrolled full time at an accredited university.
• Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027, and not require sponsorship in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives using data science, AI, and automation to enhance reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
• Analyze financial and operational data, develop data-driven insights, build automated solutions and dashboards, and explore AI-enabled opportunities to improve efficiency and business intelligence.
• Collaborate with finance and GBU teams to solve real-world business challenges through a combination of financial analysis, programming, and data science methodologies.
