Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of global food retailer Ahold Delhaize, is seeking a Director of Data Governance to lead the overall data strategy across ADUSA Finance and its brands.

You will manage a team, implement governance framework, partner with IT, and drive data quality and master data management, including SAP MDG, to enable trusted finance insights.

This role operates in a complex, multi-ERP environment with strong leadership and global policy influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field.
• 15+ years of business consulting/industry or related experience.
• 8+ years in Data Governance or related experience.
• Experience working in a global, multi-vendor environment.
• 10+ years of leadership in Finance, Accounting, or financial data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the data governance and management operating model within ADUSA Finance.
• Develop and implement a cohesive vision and strategy for ADUSA Finance data.
• Manage day-to-day data management processes related to master data, change, quality and use.
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders to enable governance.
• Coordinate cross-functional and global alignment on data policies and standards.
• Develop data governance metrics to drive ongoing evaluation and improvement.
• Provide thought leadership and engage in industry data initiatives and forums.
• Oversee strategic leadership across ADUSA Finance for large-scale data initiatives.
