Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company offers a Finance Technology Internship where you will analyze data, develop and maintain reporting solutions, and support automation within the Finance organization.

You will work with experienced developers and business partners to improve processes and test changes to Finance technology tools. Location is Orrville, with hybrid conditions requiring onsite presence at least nine days per month.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, CS, IS, Statistics, Math, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Demonstrated interest in data, analytics, automation, AI, reporting or technology solutions through coursework, projects or internships.
• Exposure to BI, data visualization, or analytical tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, R, Python).
• Strong time-management and teamwork skills; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model data to help Finance teams generate insights and actions.
• Assist with building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Prepare, clean, validate, and analyze data used by Finance teams.
