Finance Data & Analytics Consultant

Arrayo is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Consultant to join our Financial Services project delivery team, supporting international banking clients’ Finance and Risk divisions with a focus on data analytics for regulatory reporting initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, develop, and optimize analytics solutions that transform financial and regulatory data into actionable insights — leveraging Power BI, Python, and Dataiku.

Base pay range

$80.00/hr - $95.00/hr

What You’ll Do

Requirements Gathering & Data Analysis

• Engage with Finance stakeholders to understand key reporting and analytics needs.
• Analyze existing data structures to identify gaps and inefficiencies in regulatory reporting processes.
• Translate business requirements into actionable insights and technical specifications.

Functional Design & BI Solution Development

• Develop detailed functional specifications for dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
• Design and prototype proof-of-concept (POC) solutions to validate use cases before full-scale implementation.

Advanced Data Preparation & Transformation

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources using advanced data preparation techniques.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability within Microsoft Power BI and related tools.
• Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation and cleansing processes.

End-to-End BI & Analytics Solution Delivery

• Architect and implement robust BI and analytics solutions tailored to Finance and regulatory use cases.
• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage Microsoft Power BI, Python, and Dataiku to deliver scalable, high-impact analytics solutions.
• Continuously enhance and evolve existing BI and analytics frameworks to meet changing regulatory and business requirements.

Ad Hoc Analysis & Reporting

• Develop and execute complex ad hoc queries to support Finance and Regulatory Reporting teams.
• Provide timely analytical insights to address evolving regulatory and business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or consulting within Financial Services — ideally supporting Finance or Regulatory Reporting functions.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI
• Solid working knowledge of Python and hands‑on experience with Dataiku or similar data preparation tools.
• Understanding of data governance, controls, and reporting processes in banking or capital markets.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge business needs and technical delivery.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
