Job summary

Stifel is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Digital Solutions group and support ad-hoc data extraction and reporting requests. You will work with business users, product management, and development teams to translate requirements into queries, analyze underlying data, and maintain documentation.

Your role includes ensuring data quality and acting as a SME for data sets. Required is a solid understanding of financial terminology, experience with T-SQL, and the ability to create intermediate SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or business administration or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years' investment, financial or technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and translate ad-hoc data requests into queries to provide objective data sets.
• Act as SMEs for assigned raw data sets and maintain documentation.
• Perform data quality checks and due diligence on data produced.
• Collaborate with business users, product management and development teams to refine requirements.
