Job summary

PDI Technologies, based in Temple, Texas, is seeking a detail-oriented accounting support specialist to join its Managed Services team. You will handle accounting transactions, A/P and A/R, general ledger entries, and financial reporting for leading retail and petroleum clients.

You'll collaborate with store managers, prepare statements, analyze results, and contribute to process improvements. This role offers growth opportunities and a balanced work environment with hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Maintain and record business transactions for assigned accounts.
• Perform general ledger entries for accruals or reclassifications.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Review operating results for accuracy and provide improvement suggestions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and record business transactions for assigned accounts, including A/P and A/R functions.
• Perform general ledger entries for accruals or expense account reclassifications.
• Interface with store managers and personnel to ensure efficient store processing, providing timely and accurate data, preparing statements and basic financial reports.
• Generate and review customer financial statements, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts (including period close process) including billing, bank statements, and credit card settlements.
• Review and analyze monthly operating results for accuracy and reasonableness, providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presented.
• Follow up on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting of financial data.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting and tracking tools.
