Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analysis or business intelligence experience.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R and Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP, Power BI or Tableau.

Automatic Pool Covers, Inc is hiring a Finance Data Analyst to support finance, executive, and operational teams with reliable data and practical insights. In this onsite Westfield, IN role, you will help turn complex information into reporting, dashboards, and financial and operational analysis that teams can use to guide day-to-day decisions and strategic planning.

What you’ll do

• Extract and process data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and reports from internal programs as well as external sources and software providers.
• Design and optimize enterprise-level reporting data workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain data integrity and consistency by cleaning data, identifying and correcting errors, troubleshooting missing values, and validating results against business outcomes and KPIs.
• Analyze and interpret datasets using statistical methods, with a focus on trends and patterns.
• Develop and create reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
• Communicate insights through visual tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and support consolidated, data-driven decision-making.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis projects for emerging business concerns using data in real time.
• Support strategic objectives by establishing KPIs and refining measurable business targets to evaluate initiative effectiveness.
• Partner with leadership and act as a business intelligence consultant to identify improvement opportunities and guide strategic planning.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related) or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis / business intelligence experience.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
• Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, or statistical analysis.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP, Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
• Ability to understand manufacturing business needs and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical operational groups.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain the significance of data to business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.), NetSuite, and web proficiency.
