Job summary

The Finance Controller for The Judge Group will oversee all finance and accounting activities for a multi-plant manufacturing operation in the United States, partnering with executive leadership and operations teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in manufacturing finance and accounting.
• 4+ years as a Controller in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Multi-plant manufacturing experience required.
• Strong IFRS reporting and compliance expertise.
• Advanced manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, working capital, and controls.
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar) and Oracle FCCS reporting/consolidation systems.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, financial statements, management reporting, and financial consolidations.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, outlooks, CAPEX planning, and financial performance reporting.
• Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting, working capital initiatives, banking relationships, and inventory optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, audits, statutory reporting, tax requirements, and governance standards.
• Lead manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, COGS analysis, cost rolls, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Partner with plant leadership and operations teams to improve profitability, productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Analyse customer, product, and programme profitability; support pricing reviews, business cases, and investment decisions.
• Lead and develop finance teams while driving finance transformation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Summary

The Finance Controller will lead all finance and accounting activities for a multi-plant manufacturing operation, serving as a key business partner to executive leadership and operations teams. The role is responsible for financial reporting, manufacturing cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, internal controls, working capital management, and operational finance support across U.S. operations. The position requires strong hands‑on leadership within a complex manufacturing environment and extensive experience supporting plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum 4 years as a Controller within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Multi-plant manufacturing experience required.
• Strong IFRS reporting and compliance expertise.
• Advanced manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, working capital management, and financial controls.
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar) and Oracle FCCS reporting/consolidation systems.
• Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and partnering with manufacturing operations leadership.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish capability.
• Experience supporting global reporting structures and international manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of SOX and internal control frameworks.
• Experience leading finance automation and transformation programmes.
