Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in finance or development-related field and significant professional experience in blended finance or resilience financing.
• Experience with diaspora engagement, fundraising, and governance of financial instruments.
• Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills for complex reports.

Responsibilities

• Review project documentation and evaluate performance of the diaspora guarantee mechanism.
• Analyze loan performance, default risk, and guarantee fund utilization.
• Assess market demand for resilient shelter financing and diaspora engagement opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for fundraising approaches and partnerships with MFIs and banks.
• Develop governance, financial, operational feasibility recommendations and roadmaps.
• Prepare deliverables including inception report, data collection results, interim briefs, and final feasibility study.
