Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Close and Consolidation in Chicago, IL. You will lead the consolidation process, coordinate with accounting systems and technology teams, and advise on legal entity questions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Audit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee consolidation of financial statements and intercompany eliminations.
• Manage month-end close processes and ensure accounting systems are closed.
• Review month-end close journals, controls and deliverables.
• Develop and coach a team of indirect reports and contractors.
• Lead team in preparing and automating the Statement of Cash Flows.
• Define future state consolidations vision for a new ERP system.
