PaleBlueDot AI is seeking a Finance Operations Lead to bridge US commercial/operational teams with Group Finance. You will support budgeting, contract routing, and routine reporting, acting as the day-to-day local finance anchor.

Key focus areas include US treasury management, banking operations, KYC liaison, tax coordination with external advisors, and responsive time-zone coverage for US vendors and partners. This role requires strong communication and execution skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Finance-to-Business Liaison & Support (Core Function)Cross-Team Bridge: Serve as the day-to-day point of contact connecting US commercial/operational teams with Group Finance. Operational Finance Support: Assist local business heads with routine budgeting, spending queries, contract routing, and basic commercial support.Routine Reporting: Facilitate standard periodic reporting and keep Group Finance aligned on local business developments.


2. 2. Treasury, Banking & Cash Operations (Core Focus)Treasury & Banking: Manage daily US bank account operations, including domestic payments, execution approvals, and account administration. KYC & Banking Liaison: Act as the primary local contact for US banking partners to handle KYC, signatory updates, and compliance requests.Billing & AR Support: Oversee local customer invoicing and support cash collection tracking.


3. 3. Tax & External Compliance CoordinationTax Liaison: Coordinate with external US tax advisors to ensure timely tax filings and indirect tax support. Local Notice & Audit Handling: Receive and route US official correspondence (IRS/state notices, bank letters) to Group Finance and external advisors. US Time-Zone Coverage: Provide responsive US time-zone support for local vendors, partners, and internal teams.


4. 4. Ad-hoc SupportAssist with local administrative or finance support projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Treasury Experience: Solid hands-on experience in US treasury management, banking operations, payment workflows, and KYC processes.


• Stakeholder & Bridge Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effectively bridging business and finance teams.


• Execution & Detail-Oriented: Pragmatic, organized, and reliable in handling execution-heavy tasks (banking, compliance, routing).


• Self-Driven: Comfortable acting as the local US finance anchor for a foreign/Group headquarters.
