Job summary

Amphitheater Unified School District seeks a Business Manager to oversee professional accounting and budgeting activities in line with district and state policies. The role requires advanced knowledge of accounting principles and strong supervisory capabilities.

The successful candidate analyzes, prepares, and presents budgets and financial reports, supervising accounting, bookkeeping and payroll staff while ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial operations across the district.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
Three years of professional budget or accounting experience with knowledge in accounting and finance practices.
Two years of supervisory experience.
Must be eligible to be bonded.
Ability to work varied hours as job dictates.
Expertise in word-processing, database, spreadsheet and financial software.
