Job summary

An AmLaw firm is seeking a Project Finance Associate to join its Energy and Infrastructure Practice Group in New York. This onsite, full-time position offers exposure to sophisticated project finance, limited recourse, and structured financings within the energy sector.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years of relevant legal experience and a background in project finance, development, or leveraged finance. Spanish/Portuguese language ability is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in project finance and development, limited recourse, and/or structured financings preferred.
• Experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors preferred.
• Leveraged finance or other finance experience will also be considered.
• Law firm experience required.
• Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing in the jurisdiction where hired.
• Spanish or Portuguese language capability is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work effectively with sophisticated corporate, private equity, institutional, and financial institution clients.

Compensation

$260,000-$365,000 annually, depending on experience and other relevant factors, plus comprehensive benefits.
