Job Description

As a Finance Associate within PNC's Retail Finance organization, you will be part of the Retail Lending group, supporting and providing analysis advice to senior management regarding the performance of PNC’s lending products. You will help "tell the story" of PNC's relative performance to internal management on a monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely, transparent, and succinct financial reports to enable informed decision-making by stakeholders. Produce timely and precise revenue, expense, and staffing forecasts.
• Contribute to the annual budget cycle and continuous monthly forecasting. Prepare key financial forecasts, metric‑driven performance dashboards, and strategic business insights for business leaders and executives.
• Perform on‑demand analysis and generate custom reports to address specific business needs. Collaborate with the business on implementation and compliance of new accounting and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate audit, regulatory, and investor requests by providing timely and accurate information. Promptly identify and address control matters; maintain sound control processes.
• Navigate professional interactions with colleagues across departments to ensure alignment and shared success.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting, with strong financial analysis and variance analysis skills. Technical proficiency in Hyperion and Excel.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience).

Preferred Skills: Account Analysis, Accounting Research, Decision Making, Finance Strategy, Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis, People Management, Results‑Oriented.
