Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Finance internship designed to expose students to audit and financial analytics. You will work with the Audit team on projects, learn about internal controls, and develop dashboards and data solutions that impact the company’s financial performance.

Ideal candidates are pursuing finance, accounting, data analytics, or related fields, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and excited about AI tools and automation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Understanding of corporate financial measures and IT basics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interested in AI tools, process automation, or similar technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments in a virtual work environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting work to stakeholders.

Project Examples:

• Support Audit and Finance team members in planning and executing assigned projects.

Who We’re Looking For

• Students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Understanding of key corporate financial measures of success, information systems and IT security basics including network and system administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Interested in AI tools, process automation, or similar technologies (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Power BI, Python, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments in a virtual work environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting work to stakeholders.

Program Details

• Duration: 10-week remote internship (This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.)
• Program Dates: 6/7/27 – 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 – 8/20/27
• Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
• This position can earn $25 - $34 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Hourly rate based on academic status.
