Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a Summer Finance Internship where you’ll support the Audit and Finance teams on projects spanning planning, risk assessment, and data analysis. This remote internship is open to students in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related fields and emphasizes real-world impact.

You will develop dashboards, analyze data for trends, document findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining confidentiality and security.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of corporate financial measures and IT basics including network and system administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interest in AI tools, process automation, or similar technologies (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Power BI, Python, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments in a virtual environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting work to stakeholders.

Who We’re Looking For

• Students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.

Program Details

• Duration: 10-week remote internship (This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.)
• Program Dates: 6/7/27 – 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 – 8/20/27
• Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
• This position can earn $25 - $34 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Hourly rate based on academic status.
