Job summary

Motion Recruitment in New York, NY seeks a Finance Analyst for a long-term hybrid contract. The role requires Agile delivery, program or project management experience, and 5+ years in finance, with exposure to treasury, payments, or liquidity. You will collaborate with developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to move requirements from design through testing and delivery. Overtime is possible and contract lasts ~15 months.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to hit the ground running.
• Experience delivering in Agile environments.
• Program or project management experience required.
• 5+ years of Finance experience or equivalent.
• Experience in treasury, payments, liquidity, or related areas.
• Strong data skills: query, manipulate, validate data.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Finance.
• Review and analyze complex Finance challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
• Contribute to resolution of complex situations meeting deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate with client personnel.
• Own product priorities: roadmap, backlog, requirements, acceptance criteria.
• Lead sessions with business and technology teams; track milestones and risks.
• Work hands-on with data to investigate questions and validate results.
• Improve intraday liquidity analytics, controls, and reporting.
