Job summary

The University of California - Riverside's University Extension is seeking a Finance Analyst to perform analysis, reporting and auditing of financial data. You will extract data from UCR and Extension systems to develop reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and forecasting.

You will develop new reports, audit financial data against KPIs, assist with grant reporting and support budget managers with budget management.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, reporting and auditing for University Extension.
• Extract data from UCR and Extension systems to develop reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and forecasting.
• Develop new reports and audit financial data to measure against organizational KPIs and prepare grant reporting to ensure compliance.
• Provide data and reports to assist budget managers in budget management.
• Assist with financial services including reconciling, entering grant budgets in Kuali, and routing business contracts.
• Support maintenance of accounts receivable and collections to ensure timely billing and accuracy.
• Resolve financial-related problems through analysis, policy interpretation and recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in workgroups to perform analysis and process improvement.
