Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses, verify valuation assumptions, and articulate defensible finance judgments used to train models. The role emphasizes three-statement linkage checks, DCF foundations, and transparent explanations in clear English.

Candidates should have corporate finance or FP&A experience. No degree is required; compensation ranges with task difficulty and specialization. Flexible, remote, project-based contributions welcome.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
