Job summary

Baker Hughes in the United States is seeking a Finance Advisor - FP&A Operations to support financial planning, analysis and reporting for GeoZones in the MENAT region. You will drive the planning cycle, profitability improvements and cash-flow management across multiple units with a focus on strategic guidance for leadership.

You will lead 1–2 year projects and partner with senior leaders to deliver measurable financial impact, while strengthening governance, forecasts and monthly close

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 10 years of FP&A experience.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or similar industry.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with C-level stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead programs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI definition for business units.
• Analyze performance, identify profit and cash-flow improvements and corrective actions.
• Act as strategic finance advisor to leadership for projects and decisions.
• Lead long-term projects (1–2 years) with measurable impact.
• Drive EBITDA improvement and recovery plans for underperforming units.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with ADNOC Drilling and customers.
• Strengthen cash flow and collections through issue resolution and reconciliations.
• Oversee governance including audits, month-end closings, forecasts, and reporting.

Partner with the best

As a Finance Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis and reporting for GeoZones (South Gulf, North Gulf & North Africa) in the MENAT Region.

As a Finance Advisor You will be responsible for:

• Leading financial planning cycle (3-year plan, budgeting, forecasting) and defining KPIs to track organizational performance.
• Analyzing business performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving profitability, cash flow, and corrective action plans.
• Acting as a strategic finance advisor to leadership, guiding projects, initiatives, and business decision-making.
• Leading and implementing long-term projects (1–2 years) with measurable operational and financial impact.
• Driving EBITDA improvement across underperforming units by identifying root causes and executing recovery plans.
• Serving as finance focal point for ADNOC Drilling, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring strong customer engagement.
• Strengthening cash flow and collections by reducing backlog, resolving billing issues, and maintaining regular financial reconciliation with the customer.
• Overseeing financial governance including audits, month-end closing, forecasts, reporting, and executive presentations.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
• Have minimum of 10 year-experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) Operations.
• Have experience in Oil & Gas or similar industry.
• Have demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills with proven experience managing C-level internal/external customers.
• Have demonstrated ability to lead programs & projects.
