Job summary

Banco Santander SA in New York is offering a 2027 Finance and Accounting Summer Analyst Program. You will gain exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning while building Excel modeling and analytical skills.

The internship is designed for undergraduates graduating May/June 2028, providing hands-on experience in a global banking environment. Participants will be assigned to a specific finance area, supported by a mentor, and engage in cross-functional projects

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student in a four-year program with an expected graduation May/June 2028
• Area of study in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
• Strong academic performance; GPA 3.5 or above
• Demonstrated leadership through campus involvement or work experience
• Highly motivated and results oriented with a drive to exceed expectations
• Sharp communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and capital planning
• Support data analysis and Excel-based modeling
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and learn banking operations
• Work with mentors to develop professional skills and Santander network
