Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an Accounting and Finance Rotational Analyst to join a two-year program designed to build expertise across accounting and finance disciplines. The first rotation will be at our Charlotte, NC corporate headquarters, with subsequent rotations across various U.S. locations.

You will explore SEC reporting, FP&A, internal audit, corporate accounting, cost accounting, tax, investor relations, and more, gaining hands-on experience and broad exposure to SPX's operating units.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years accounting or finance experience
• GAAP knowledge and understanding
• SOX awareness and SOX requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements, footnotes, reports and budgets
• Reconcile financial data for accuracy and completeness
• Document and organize financial records
• Assist in audits and compliance activities
• Research SEC reporting requirements and impacts
• Review capital structures, liquidity, and currency risk management
• Analyze financial data to support decision making
• Support manufacturing cost analysis and overhead assessments
• Document processes and identify improvement opportunities
