Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks an experienced accounting leader to manage outsourced accounting and financial reporting for not-for-profit clients. You will guide operations, oversee onboarding, and review deliverables while developing staff including offshore teams.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, grant reporting, and board reporting, coordinating across multiple clients with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management experience within a public accounting firm.
• Experience providing outsourced accounting, client accounting advisory, or controllership services to multiple clients.
• Not-for-profit accounting experience required, including experience supporting charitable organizations, foundations, associations, educational institutions, or other tax-exempt entities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, grant accounting, and fund accounting principles.
• Experience leading and developing accounting professionals, including remote and offshore team members.
• Strong project management, organizational, and client relationship management skills.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring to the Role

Pay Range: Pay From: $101,00 to $192,600
